This 27 year old Caperdonich Unpeated single malt has been matured in first fill American oak barrels, bottled at cask strength and without chill-filtration. Aromas of fresh ginger and zesty lemon are brilliantly balanced with notes of creamy milk chocolate. Fruity flavour notes intensify on the palate with apple and blackberry coming through, resulting in a long, sweet finish.

THE CAPERDONICH DISTILLERY
Caperdonich distillery, once stood on the banks of the River Spey, IS NO MORE. A building opened in 1898 and taken down, brick by brick, in 2011. This single malt is all that remains of the whisky from the ‘SECRET WELL’. A water spring where, legend tells, clandestine lovers used to meet in the dead of night. A place where distillers have always crafted wh with passion, letting heart rule over head. While the building may be gone, the distillers’ craft lives on.
