Every angler knows why Catch & Release is important. Sustainability, bigger fish, and healthier population. It’s this spirit we’ve adopted with our Cask & Release series. We release our used whiskey barrels into the “wild” to be conditioned by Northwest-made craft beer. We then take these barrels back and refill them with the same whiskey that had once called them home. Craft collaboration done right.
While at Kettlehouse Brewing Co., these barrels housed Coldsmoke, a smooth Scotch style ale with notes of toffee, coffee, caramel, and a hint of smoke, finishing at 8.5%.
