Sourced from two of California’s best regions for Merlot: Mendocino County and Sonoma County. Surrounded by the Mendocino Mountain range and redwood forests, Mendocino County’s rugged terroir is ideal for creating fresh, fruity Merlot grapes that blend perfectly with the rich and spicy flavors of grapes from Sonoma County. The various Merlot blocks were picked from September 9th through October 13th and fermented separately. The wines were aged with approximately 30% new oak before final blending.
