Our Flagship Aspen Aged Rye Whiskey is aged two years in brand new 30-gallon oak barrels from the Barrel Mill out of Minnesota. We use char levels 2, 3, 4, and 5. After the two years of aging, we blend the whiskey in large tanks.
We then finish the whiskey by dropping in hand cut and hand charred aspen wood discs that float in the whiskey for additional eight months. We then blend again before bottling.
