Crafted to be an unparalleled ultra-premium tequila, Mijenta’s carefully curated Añejo Gran Reserva is aged for a minimum of 18 months in 4 different oak barrels — American white oak, French oak, French acacia casks and cherry barrels. As with Mijenta’s Blanco and Reposado, Mexico-based Maestra Tequilera Ana Maria Romero oversaw the entire production process of the Añejo Gran Reserva. Mijenta’s most exclusive and refined expression to date, the Añejo Gran Reserva offers a more complex, intense, and exquisitely well-blended flavor profile that will elevate any special occasion simply neat. Mijenta Añejo Gran Reserva is the perfect companion to grilled and smoky proteins as well as earthy grains and vegetables and will elevate dessert occasions with its cacao and soft tea notes.
A limited number of bottles will be available, with only 2,160 produced in the first batch.
Tasting Notes:
