This 100% Pot Still Rum was distilled in Jamaica, ester level 60-119ppm, aged in ex-bourbon barrels in Jamaica for at least three years and then transported to Kentucky where it aged for an additional 2 years in ex-rye barrels. 3/2 is a blend of 3 barrels.
There are no sugars, colors, or flavors added to the rum, nor is the rum chill-filtered. Rum has many American Whiskey influences due to the aging barrels. But the unmistakable funkiness of the Jamaican distillates stands out when you nose it. Through the powerful rum, you can taste raisins, stone, and tropical fruits. Meant to be savored on its own or paired with a medium to heavy char.
