On the nose, red berry and pear on butter-toffee with soft caramel candies and vanilla bean, with a soft whisper of oak underneath. On the palate, flavors from the nose surge in unison and intensify nicely. The finish is layered with warming spice from the oak slowly giving way to a long-lasting sweetness. Complex and dangerously drinkable.
